LiUNA 150: Grant Enfinger Wins on the Road in Lime Rock

Grant Enfinger piloted his No. 9 truck to his first ever road course victory amid a chaotic race at Lime Rock Park.

Landen Lewis challenged the Alabama native after the final restart, but had to settle for second position. Lewis’ recovery to the runner-up spot came after he found himself sideways in front of the field on a lap 51 restart.

Front Row Motorsports’ Layne Riggs led a race high 49 laps, nearly half of the event. On a lap 75 restart, Riggs was spun from fifth place, relegating him to a 23rd place finish.

Karen Honeycutt spent most of his race running in Riggs’ rear view mirror, even spinning with Riggs on the lap 75 incident. Honeycutt recovered his No. 11 to a third place finish with 14 laps led.

All told, the race had seven total caution periods, and a red flag for fluid clean-up.

The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series races at North Wilkesboro Speedway next Saturday.
