Some say you aren’t a true legend of your sport unless you have retired more than once, and now Kyle Busch has checked that box…kind of.
After calling it quits once winning his 102nd race at Atlanta, KB announced his retirement and sat out the 2022 Xfinity Series season. However, the news came out earlier today that Kyle Busch is looking to add more wins to his already record total with Kaulig Racing’s All-Star #10 car. Busch will be splitting the car with fellow Cup Series drivers AJ Allmendinger, Justin Haley, and Austin Dillon.
Busch has maxed out his schedule with five total races, with the first being the third race of the year at Las Vegas and the last being at Darlington. The remainder of his schedule includes Phoenix, where Busch has 11 Xfinity Series wins, Charlotte, where he has nine, and Watkins Glen, where he only has one.
The combination of AJ’s road course prowess, Justin Haley’s superspeedway skills and KB’s speed everywhere he goes, the Kaulig number 10 will undoubtedly be a force to be reckoned with at every circuit the car drives and may even score Kaulig Racing’s first owner’s championship.
