Sanchez took the lead again on the restart, but with 23 to go a huge accident on the frontstretch placed the race under red flag. Dean Thompson in the #5, who had been running well all day, spun in the trioval. Matt Mills in the #20 tried to avoid but his brakes went to the floor and he slammed into the back of the #5. The #14 of Trey Hutchens was collected by Armani Williams in the #46 while trying to avoid. Thompson was taken away on a stretcher to a local hospital. He was released back to Charlotte where he will undergo further evaluation and needs to be approved to race Bristol next weekend.

Sanchez and Zane Smith survived multiple restarts together until we got to NASCAR Overtime. Sanchez and Smith battled side-by-side with 2 to go and at the white flag, Sanchez and Smith made contact, sending Sanchez into the grass and across the racetrack. Smith and Eckes were collected, but Carson Hocevar in the #42 made it through for his first career win.

Chase Purdy in the #4 scored his best career finish with a 2nd place run, as did Jake Gracia in the #35 with 5th, Ryan Vargas in the #30 with 8th and Hailee Deegan tied her career best result with a 6th place finish.
