Roush Fenway Racing makes changes official for 2022, becomes Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing

After teasing it online for more than a week, Roush Fenway Racing has showcased its plans for the 2022 season.

Earlier this season it was announced that Brad Keselowski would make the change from Team Penske to RFR and would become a part owner of the team. Today in Charlotte, the rebrand was officially completed as the team was renamed to Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing.

As the team changes name, it returns an iconic design of their fabled number 6. The number returns to the styling that was used between 1989 and 1997. The vehicle that was showcased today will also serve as the test car for Wednesday’s test at Charlotte.

This is the third such instance of a name change in the team’s history. The team opened as Roush Racing in 1988, was renamed Roush Fenway Racing after the Fenway Sports ownership group took interest in 2007.
