Madelyn Novak
Madelyn is a lifelong NASCAR fan and started this website in 2021. Her favorite drivers are Ryan Blaney, Harrison Burton, and Todd Gilliland. Her other interests include Major League and college baseball, hockey, and golf. She is the founder, editor, and a writer at Pit Box Press.
Tanner Smith
Tanner is a 2020 graduate from WVU who came to PBP after spending his post-graduate years writing for his own website. He contributes weekly NASCAR Almanacs as well as historical NASCAR content. In his free time, he likes to play Mario Kart, watch TV, write about other sports, or going on hikes with his wife and dogs. Tanner is a writer at Pit Box Press.
Gianna “Gi” Lashley-Nicholas
Gi is a writer from Millville, NJ. She has been a racing fan since childhood thanks to her family’s history and love of racing. Her top three drivers are Ryan Blaney, Myatt Snider, and Christian Eckes. When not writing, she is watching racing with her boyfriend or sleeping. She is a writer at Pit Box Press.
Dr. Walker Skeeter
Walker is data analyst and climatologist based out of Maryland. Despite being a climate scientist, Walker has been a NASCAR fan for over 20 years! His favorite drivers are Bubba Wallace, Tyler Reddick, and any Alpha Prime Racing driver. Outside of racing, Walker enjoys talking about (and studying) the weather, watching Baltimore sports, and playing video games – particularly iRacing. He is a writer at Pit Box Press.

Patrick is our team’s photographer, and an astrophysics Ph.D. from the Ohio State University.
Audrey Jeffress
Audrey is a writer from a small town in Georgia. Her favorite drivers are Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson. Outside of watching NASCAR and writing, she enjoys taking photos as a small business photographer and spending time with her fiancé. She also loves football.
Jey Allen
Jey is a Direct Service Provider for the developmentally disabled in southeast Ohio. They have been watching NASCAR since they were two days old and have signed their fandom to Denny Hamlin with the retirement of Kevin Harvick. When not watching racing, Jey runs Dungeons and Dragons campaigns for their friends and enjoys watching the live soap opera that is the WWE.
Joe Sell
Joe is a writer from the UK and aspiring sports journalist. His fandom started, as many often did, with the movie Cars. His favorite drivers are Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, and Daniel Suárez. Outside of racing he enjoys baseball, football, and writing for his blog.
