Quaker State 400 Recap: William Byron picks up Fourth win of the season at Atlanta

William Byron won Sunday’s Quaker State 400 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It’s Byron’s fourth win this season, eighth of his career and the 2000th win in Chevrolet racing history.

In second was Daniel Suárez, followed by AJ Allmendinger. A strong run for JJ Yeley in 7th. It’s Yeley’s first top 10 since 2013 and best finish since 2008.

Championship contenders Ross Chastain and Kyle Larson both dropped out early after sustaining damage.

Next on the schedule is the Crayon 301 at New Hampshire.
